Smoke Breaks 018: Flymind by Odeeno

For this new episode of Smoke Breaks, we're very excited to be able to share this great mix by Italian producer Vincenzo Martinelli aka Odeeno. The Naples-based beatmaestro fell in love with hiphop at the tender age of twelve, and he didn't hesitate to get himself involved. He learned the ropes using software like Reason and FruityLoops, arranging drumloops and picking out samples. He spent a couple of years honing his craft and creating his distinctive dark, hazy, atmospheric and emotive lo-fi sound. This resulted in a steady stream of dope beattapes, features on numerous compilations and releases for labels like Inner Ocean ('Untouchable Mirror'), Turbo Tape ('Flownbr∆n'), Blvnt ('Kindleavs'), Onda Tapes ('Diamond Sand') and Autumn Theory ('Blutobal'). While we eagerly anticipate the release of his upcoming new 'Paintsens'-tape for Dezi-Belle, we get the chance to enjoy this exclusive mix by the Italian don.
