Smoke Breaks 015: It's 420 Somewhere by Subp Yao

For this latest installment of our Smoke Breaks-series, we're damn proud to host Dutch deejay, producer and all-round charming dude Subp Yao. Our radar first picked up the bleeps from the Heerlen-based basshead on his impressive 'Smoke Up, Drink Up'-album for Saturate back in 2012, and Subp's been makin' our trunk rattle ever since with EP's like 'City of Dreams', 'Fission' and last year's 'Backwitda'. His inventive solo work, collaborations with the likes of Bleep Bloop, dOOp, Yunis, Dayle and Razat as well as remixes for FilosofischeStilte and Addison Groove have earned him accolades from bass fanatics and beat enthusiast all over the globe...
Despite being preoccupied with working on a new album for London's MethLab, Subp found the time to blend this amazing, trippy mix together for us. He even told us he did so much research he might have to come up with a follow-up episode. We'll defenitely take him up on that. Give Subp Yao's 'It's 420 Somewhere'-mix a listen below, enjoy!
