Smoke Breaks 006: Sitting Under the Half-pipe by Thijsenterprise

For this new episode of Smoke Breaks, we got in touch with Thijsenterprise; a young Dutch loopdigger chopping up soul and jazz samples to create raw drums and dirty basslines. His quest for the perfect loop lead to his impressive solo debut 'Stepbacks & Setbacks' - a beattape that started out as a tribute to Dilla's 'Donuts', but turned into a musical catalyst for the producers' personal issues like heartbreak and solitude. Earlier this year, he teamed up with Drumma Sheen as 2-Two Legged Dogs for the eclectic 'Je Hebt de Boem en de Klap', and Thijsenterprise plans on releasing new projects this winter and next spring.
