Soul- and funkband Maxayn was founded in 1971 by Andre Lewis and his wife Maxayn (née Paulette Parker). The couple was joined by guitarist Marlo Henderson, drummer/percussionist Emry Thomas and saxophonist Hank Redd and recorded three albums ('Maxayn', 'Mindful' and 'Bail Out for Fun!') before morphing into the more electronic sounding space-funk project Mandré. The incredibly funky 'Bail Out' is the opening track of their third and final album, and is one of the highlights in the Maxayn-discography... Enjoy!
